Note on my other new notebook again Samsung running Windows 8 there is also a pre-installed Office that program is running perfectly no problems with activation key etc.

Where did you get the Product Key from Samsung? Is it a "Product Key" sticker on the computer? Take a closer look at it. You'll see that it is for Windows. I posted a query about this and someone suggested I try to repair in safe mode. Tried but no success. My computer is a Dell Inspiron , several years old. Not terrifically fast but reliable. I managed to find the product key but the Microsoft site will not allow me to download the program to reinstall.
I tried to repair the click to run app, but same problem. Please, somebody, give me another suggestion. Thank you in advance. Try re-installing Office after installing Revo Uninstaller. Then uninstall Office with Revo. The Uninstallation of previous Office might have been unsuccessful causing Error! Remove office Completely and Try Again. Are u using Genuine Windows? Office might need that for successful installtion! It's really weird that there's no error code — how are you supposed to fix the problem?
You could try using the FixIt option here to completely remove Office — perhaps the problem is a bit of the program is still there.
